The stores are owned and managed by Bob and Amy who reside on Cape Cod. The Provincetown store has been in business for 35 years and the Martha's Vineyard store for over 15 years. It is one of the few stores on the Vineyard that is open year round. From April through January everyday and January through March on weekends (weather permitting). We offer a variety of custom designed jewelry by the owners and other artists. Styles range from vintage designs to unique bold, modern pieces. The wide assortment of beautiful seashells come from various worldwide locations. There is also an assortment of treasures from the earth in a variety of rocks, minerals and fossils in there natural forms as well as beautiful spheres, eggs, freeform, carvings and sculptures. The lamps are hand crafted by an American artist in the taditional Tiffany style ranging from traditional to very unique creations which are completely lead free. There is also an assortment of ship paintings done eclusively for our stores by Edward Fay of Newport, RI. For those whose like to make their own jewelry, there is a wide assortment of natural semiprecious stone, vintage and other unusual beads. The Galadriel's Mirror "This store is truly a gem--or more accurately, a lot of gems! You won't be able to resist running your fingers through the bowls of polished stones and touching the jagged edges of brilliant minerals. You'll find jade, rose quartz, topaz, and other stones along with gold and silver jewelry. Take your time in here; there's a lot to see, and browsing among such beautiful things will put you in a tranquil mood. The shop, a fixture in Provincetown for 28 years, is open year-round." |
